About Sarai

Sarai is a classically trained pianist whose career has taken her from Chicago to prestigious stages worldwide, including in Italy, Germany, and the Republic of Georgia. Recently, she has toured in Mexico and the U.S., sharing her art through a cultural exchange sponsored by the Guanajuato State Cultural Institute, where she performed alongside notable Mexican classical artists. Sarai earned her music degrees from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and the City College of New York. Living in New York City from 2013 to 2020, she completed her graduate studies, obtained her Suzuki piano teaching certification, and taught as a practice coach and piano instructor both privately and at conservatories throughout the NYC area. During this time, she gave acclaimed solo and chamber performances at venues like Merkin and Shephard Halls, and collaborated with esteemed musicians such as Nelly Rocha, Suzanne Wagor, Silvia Grendze, and Ali Kang.

For Sarai, performing is a means of forging connections through the universal language of music, which she sees as a sublime expression of the soul. Music has been pivotal in connecting her to her multi-cultural heritage and engaging with diverse cultures, embodying a powerful, shared human experience.
